LED-UV goes XXL at Standard Printing Company of Canton

Canton Ohio, Established in 1923, Standard Printing Company of Canton, Ohio is a privately owned printing company located not far from the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Their goal is to make the customer’s experience as seamless and simple as possible and to provide responsive, flexible services, combined with a relentless focus on quality and on-time performance. Their wide and diverse range of capabilities, such as in house design department, 28 x 40 up to 51 x 73 offset presses, and digital presses with variable data printing capabilities, ensure they can offer the ideal combination of quality and speed for any project.

In early 2016 Standard Printing choose Air Motion Systems to retrofit their Man Roland 900 XXL 73” sheet-fed printing press. Included in the upgrade is an XP9 LED-UV module with mounting positions in the 2nd – 5th – and 6th printing units. Also added was a 3 lamp conventional AMS-UV package in the delivery and an upgraded Harris and Bruno Anilox coating system. Standard Printing now has the capability to run special effects and strike thru in one pass fully cured when it hits the delivery. Doing short run length, fast turnaround top sheet projects for the corrugate industry is no problem now with or without coating.

The Standard Printing Company is committed to implementing environmentally conscious practices and products in their manufacturing process. LED-UV printing fits right into the companies “The Green Standard” program with this Eco-friendly form of printing.

We would like to welcome Standard Printing Company of Canton Ohio as the newest member of the International LED-UV Association
